    • Updated Website

    • More Exam Cities

    Now there are 554 exam cities, up from 499 last year. Students need to pick four cities.

    • Same Exam Fee

    • Broader Eligibility

    Previously, only students who passed class 12th with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology, and English could take the NEET exam. But from 2024, students with PCM can also apply, even if they haven’t studied Biology/Biotechnology.

    • Age Requirements

    Students must be at least 17 years old when they apply, or will reach 17 by December 31 of the application year. Here are the details:

    For General (UR)/General-EWS candidates: born on or before December 31, 2007

    For SC/ST/OBC-NCL/PwBD Category candidates: no specific age limit mentioned

    As of the latest update from the National Medical Commission, there’s no maximum age limit for taking the NEET (UG) exam.

    • Passing NEET UG

    Whether you’re an Indian citizen or an Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) planning to study medicine abroad, you still need to pass the NEET (UG) exam to be eligible for admission.

    Eligibility criteria for OCI Card Holders

    • OCI Cardholders Can Join NEET UG 2024:

    Indian Nationals, Non-Resident Indians (NRIs), Overseas Citizens of India (OCI), Persons of Indian Origin, and Foreign Nationals can apply for Medical / Dental/ Ayurveda/ Siddha/ Unani/ Homeopathy Colleges. However, their eligibility depends on the rules set by the State Governments, Institutions, and the Government of India.

    • OCI Cardholders Get Same Rights as other NEET UG Applicants:

    According to the Supreme Court, Overseas Citizens of India (OCI) have the same rights as others.

    Documents required for application

    Candidates need to have all the necessary documents for filling out the NEET 2024 Application Form. These documents, listed in the NEET 2024 Information Bulletin, include:

    2. Left and Right Thumb Impressions
    3. Signature
