The Directorate of Medical Education (DME), Tripura, has released the official notice regarding the Tripura NEET counseling 2023 at dme.tripura.gov.in.

According to the DME Tripura, “The Offline Stray Vacancy Round of Tripura State NEET UG 2023 counseling for allotment of remaining state quota seats of MBBS/BDS/BHMS seats will be held on 29-09-2023 (Friday), 11 am at Directorate of Medical Education, Bidurkarta Chowmohani, Agartala.
All the eligible intending already registered (Round-1 and/or Round-2 and/or MOP UP Round) candidates are invited to attend the counseling at least one hour before the start of the counseling for the enrollment signature in the attendance register which will be deemed as Registration for the Stray Vacancy Round. There will be no need to submit registration fees again.”
Furthermore, the notice adds, “The eligible candidates are instructed to be present physically and bring all the original documents and four passport-sized photos with them. Required original documents and one photocopy of each to be submitted on call during offline counseling.
- Age Proof Certificate (Birth Certificate/ Class-X Admit Card/ Class-X Pass Certificate.
- NEET 2023 Admit Card.
- NEET 2023 score Card.
- Caste Certificate (If applicable).
- Mark Sheet of 10 + 2 or equivalent examination.
- Permanent Resident Certificate(PRTC) / Domicile Certificate issued by the competent authority.
- 04 (four) copies of recent passport-sized photos
The original certificates are mandatory to claim eligibility for participating in the counseling. Allotments of seats will not be considered for any candidate who is not physically present and/or does not possess the original certificate along with him/her in the Stray Vacancy Round Counselling.
All the allotted candidates in the counselling shall have to submit the necessary bonds at the Directorate of Medical Education, Bidurkarta Chowmohani, Agartala and collect nomination from DME, and proceed for admission.
The last date of admission at TMC and RIMS is 30-09-2023. The last date of admission to other Institutions has not yet been communicated. However, candidates are instructed to get ready to take admission in those Institutions at the earliest.

Tripura MBBS Counselling 2023: Step-by-Step Process
Step 1: Registrations
Authorities conduct online registrations for Tripura MBBS admission. Physical verification of documents follows. The authorities released the state merit list for Tripura MBBS 2023. Candidates included in the merit list are invited to participate in the counseling process.
Step 2: Choice filling
Candidates fill and lock choices for college and course counseling of Tripura MBBS. Based on choices, seat availability, and other factors, the seat allotment list is released online.
Step 3: Reporting to allotted colleges
Candidates allotted seats must report to the DME office for nomination and document verification. Two rounds of Tripura MBBS/BDS counseling followed by a mop-up round are conducted. For the second round, candidates cannot exit freely. If a candidate exits the Tripura NEET 2023 counseling process in the second round, their security money is forfeited.
