    How to recognize a Cuboid?

    A Cuboid is a three-dimensional rectangular solid with six square faces. It has 8 vertices (corners) and 12 edges.

    Cuboid Formulas:

    The length, width, and height of a cuboid are its dimensions. The volume of a cuboid is the product of its length, width, and height. The surface area of a cuboid is the product of its length, width, and height, minus the area of its six faces.

    The Volume of Cuboid

    The volume of a cuboid is the product of three linear dimensions, measured in the same units:

    V = L × W × H

    The Surface Area of a Cuboid

    The surface area of a cuboid is the sum of the areas of the six faces.

    A = 6 × (base × height)

    A = 6 × (b × h)

    The Total Surface Area of a Cuboid:

    The total surface area of a cuboid is the sum of the surface areas of its six faces.

    The surface area of a face is the product of its length and width.

    For a cuboid with length L, width W, and height H, the total surface area is:

    A = 6 * (L * W)

    Examples Surface Area of a Cuboid

    The surface area of a cuboid is the sum of the areas of its six faces.

    The area of a face is the product of its length and width.

    Cube

    This is the most basic of all the cubes. It has six faces, each with a different color.

    2. Rubik’s Cube

    This is the most popular type of cube. It has six faces, each with a different color. However, the colors are not evenly distributed on each face.

    3. Mirror Cube

    This cube is just like the Rubik’s Cube, but the colors are reversed.

    4. Square-1

    This cube has one color on each face. The colors are in a square pattern.

    5. Skewb

    This cube has six faces, but each face has four colors.

    6. Pyraminx

    This cube has four faces, each with a different color.

    The Volume of a Cube

    The volume of a cube is the amount of space inside the cube. To find the volume of a cube, we multiply the length of a side by itself and then by the height of the cube.

    Properties of Perfect Cubes

    A perfect cube is a cube that has all of its sides equal in length. It is also a perfect square, because its length and width are both equal.

    Examples Related to Cubes

    A cube has six faces, each with an area of 6 square inches.

    A cube has a total volume of 216 cubic inches.

    Important Definitions

    Domain name

    A domain name is an identification string that defines a realm of administrative autonomy, authority, or control on the internet. Domain names are used in various networking contexts and for various purposes, most notably in the domain name system (DNS) of the Internet, where they are associated with addresses of resources.

    Domain name system

    The domain name system (DNS) is a hierarchical decentralized naming system for computers, services, or any other resource connected to the Internet or a private network. It associates various information with domain names assigned to each of the participating entities. Most prominently, it translates human-readable domain names into the numerical addresses that are required for communication on the Internet.

    Hostname

    A hostname is a domain name assigned to a host computer on a network. The hostname is used to identify the host computer to other computers and devices on the network.
