    1. Introduction

    The current study aimed to investigate the relationship between EFL learners’ oral proficiency and their writing performance. The study also aimed to identify the possible factors that might affect EFL learners’ oral proficiency and writing performance. To achieve these objectives, the study employed a correlational design. The participants of the study were 120 EFL learners who were studying at different universities in Iran. The participants’ oral proficiency was assessed using the Oxford Placement Test (OPT) and their writing performance was assessed using the Test of Written English (TWE). The data were analyzed using Pearson’s correlation coefficient. The results of the study showed that there was a significant positive relationship between EFL learners’ oral proficiency and their writing performance. Additionally, the results of the study showed that there were some factors that affected EFL learners’ oral proficiency and writing performance. These factors were: EFL learners’ gender, EFL learners’ major, and EFL learners’ level of education.

    The square root of a number can be found by prime factorization method. The prime factorization of a number is the decomposition of the number into its prime factors. The prime factors of a number are the prime numbers that divide into the number without a remainder.

    To find the square root of a number by prime factorization method, first find the prime factors of the number. Next, write the number as the product of its prime factors. Finally, take the square root of the product.

    For example, the prime factors of 36 are 2, 3, and 6. Therefore, 36 can be written as the product of 2, 3, and 6 as 2 x 3 x 6 = 36. The square root of 36 is 6.
